Between work, doing laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning, running errands, attending family matters, and staying active, who has time for brain fog? Look to this juice as your new BFF with which to sip your way through a productive day, adding clarity and pep in your step. Beets add bold flavor and rich, beautiful color to this juice, as well as natural sweetness. Beets are also high in antioxidants and contain magnesium, potassium, copper, folate, and even a little protein. The apple, cucumber, and romaine are hydrating fruits and veggies—and hydration is essential for optimal cognitive function.

Ingredients
  1. 5 cups romaine lettuce
  2. 1 green apple, cored
  3. 1 cucumber
  4. 1 lemon
  5. 1 beet
Instructions
  1. Prepare all the ingredients by rinsing, scrubbing, or peeling as necessary
  2. Cut the ingredients to a size appropriate for your juicer
  3. Process all the ingredients in the juicer, and enjoy within 1 hour
Notes
  1. Ingredient Tip: Beets can stain your cups or kitchenware, so wash your juice equipment well, and look out for drips of beet juice on your counter.
