Coconut Cacao Truffles

Coconut Cacao Truffles

These truffles are one of my absolute favorite desserts. They are quick to make, delicious and satisfy any chocolate lover’s craving. They are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, raw, vegan, plant-based and super yummy. This recipe makes 8-10 truffles.

¾ cup raw unsweetened cacao powder

2 cups raw almonds

¼ cup raw cashews

¼ cup water

1 heaping tablespoon organic, raw, unrefined coconut oil

Pinch of sea salt

Directions:

In a food processor or high-speed blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until you have a thick batter.

Roll into small balls about 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter and place on a plate. Cover and keep in the freezer until ready to eat. The truffles will keep for up to 2 weeks in the freezer and are best served chilled.
