CITRUS GARLAND DIY + CINNAMON ORANGE HOT COCO

Hey Friends! Welcome back to the blog! We love the holiday season and all the incredible colors and flavors it brings! As you know I am the spokesperson for Limoneira and every week we share Citrus themed recipes, DIY projects, beauty and lifestyle videos on the Limoneira YouTube Channel! Citrus Garland

Ingredients
  1. Garland greenery
  2. Dried Limoneira orange slices
  3. Ornament hooks
Instructions
  1. Poke the ornament hooks into the dried Limoneira oranges or lemon slices
  2. String your garland greenery along your fire place or anywhere that you choose
  3. Hang the dried oranges or lemons as closely or as far apart as you want

Cinnamon Orange Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
  1. 1 cup freshly squeeze Limoneira orange juice
  2. 2 cinnamon sticks
  3. 2 cups non-dairy milk
  4. 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  5. 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  6. Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
  1. Add cinnamon sticks and orange juice into a small pot and simmer for 5 minutes
  2. Remove cinnamon sticks and add milk, maple syrup, cacao powder and a pinch of sea salt
  3. Whisk together until hot chocolate is smooth and heat until bubbly
  4. Pour into glass and top with marshmallows, cinnamon sticks and orange zest

Lemon Protein Balls

Ingredients
  1. 12 medjool dates
  2. 1 cup brazil nuts
  3. 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  4. 1 tablespoon maca powder
  5. 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  6. 1 tablespoon cashew butter
  7. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  8. 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  9. 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
  1. Blend dates and brazil nuts into a food processor until they form a crumbly dough like texture
  2. Add in remaining ingredients and blend until a sticky dough batter forms
  3. Shape into balls and place in the refrigerator or store in freezer
  4. Enjoy
