Hi Friends! Today I’m excited to share with you 14 of my favorite cleaner, non-toxic skincare and makeup products. Personal products made with clean ingredients are important to me for a number of reasons. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition many years ago and ever since then it’s been really important that I continue to have healthy habits not just with what I eat but also what personal products I use, supplements I take and my lifestyle overall to help keep my condition in remission. My skin also is so much happier when I use products without fragrance or other irritants.
Skincare and makeup is personal because everyone’s skin is unique! I’m excited to share with you what products I use and love and perhaps you’ll find something that you want to try or that supports your skin needs too. Ultimately I love helping women switch to cleaner products whether it’s these brands I love or something that is a better fit! Let’s get started with skincare!
My top 2 favorite brands for skin care are Primally Pure and Beautycounter. I use a mix of both brands. Sometimes it takes trying a few items to find what works best for you! I love that Beautycounter and Primally Pure both have great return policies which helps when ordering online too.
Primally Pure Cleansing Oil
My go-to cleanser is this Cleaning Oil from Primally Pure. It’s made with just 9 simple organic ingredients. I love that it nourishes and supports my skin barrier which is really important for preventing dry skin. I do not break out with this cleanser, even though it is oil based and I credit that to the quality of ingredients and the type of oil. Soothing Serum (Great For Calming Redness)
Since having kids my skin tends to be more on the red and dry side. This soothing serum is really great for helping to calm redness and irritation. I use just 3 drops a day and pat on my skin after cleansing, so it lasts a really long time.
Everything Spray
I love this everything spray!! It is like a toner, and just so so good! This spray is made with organic lavender, witch hazel, tea tree oil and more! It can be used as a facial spray or spray in sensitive areas after shaving to prevent ingrown hairs.
Adaptive Moisture Lotion (Great for Dry Skin!)
Because my skin tends to be on the dry side I’ve been loving the Countermatch moisturizers from Beautycounter. The Adaptive Moisture Lotion is a great daytime moisturizer, it’s lightweight and non-greasy.
Recovery Sleeping Cream
I also love this richer evening cream which I apply before bed- the Recovery Sleeping Cream. Blue Tansy Soothing Moisturizer
I also just started trying out the Blue Tansy Soothing Moisturizer from Primally Pure and so far I’m liking it! I’ll have to keep using it for a while and give a better report in a future video. However, for now I feel that it’s a very gentle moisturizer and the blue tansy is good for reducing inflammation and redness.
Deodorant

Deodorant is a really important non-toxic, natural product to switch to. It’s applied right in your underarm by major multiple lymph nodes. One major ingredient in conventional deodorants we want to stay away from is aluminum which is often used as an anti-perspirant and to block sweat and has been linked to Alzheimers and Breast Cancer. Other ingredients include talc and parabens which are known endocrine disruptors. Many “natural” deodorants brands still contain fragrance and the EWG found that 75% of products with fragrance tested, contain carcinogenic ingredients. Essentially – switching to non-toxic, clean deodorant is so important!
Dry Shampoo
Another long-time favorite is this dry shampoo from Primally Pure. It’s so helpful on days when you don’t want to wash your hair. This powder absorbs the oil from the roots of your hair!

Skin Twin Foundation
I love the coverage of this Skin Twin foundation. It’s very buildable, but never feels caked on. Most days however I wear the Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer which provides some SPF coverage as well.
Concealer
This is the Skin Twin concealer I use which is cruelty-free and matches the foundation shades really well. I find that it has good coverage and doesn’t crease during the day!
Tinted Brow Gel
This brow gel is great for helping to shape and tint your brows. It’s super easy to use and comes in a variety of shades. I feel that good brows can really make your face look more awake!
Sheer Lipstick
Did you know that 61% of conventional lipsticks contain lead? So gross. Especially since we are always swallowing small amounts of lipstick when we wear it. Beautycounter’s Sheer Conditioning Lipstick is a mix between a lip balm and a lipstick. It’s hydrating and nourishing for my lips and comes in the most beautiful colors. In the video I’m wearing the color Twig but I also love the color Terra!
Cream Blush
I LOVE love love this cream blush. My favorite blush of all time. It’s also a great 3-in-1 product because it can double as a cream eyeshadow or even a lipstick! I wear the shade caramel but it comes in 3 different colors.
Think Big All-In-One Mascara
Finding a good mascara is not easy. I’ve tried a lot and Beautycounter’s Think Big All-In-One is my current fav. If you’ve ever tried Thrive Causemetics it performs similar if not better to that mascara. It helps to feather out, lengthen and lift your lashes. I also love that it doesn’t irritate or make my eyes water and it doesn’t flake off.
