Citrus Infused Vinegar Cleaner
Spring is here, which means getting out all the supplies for spring cleaning! A big part of my health journey has been slowly switching over to more non-toxic products from beauty to cleaning. While there are some incredible chemical-free cleaning products on the market, we thought a DIY all-purpose cleaner would be an easy and cheap way for you and your family to enjoy some non-toxic living! You’re going to love this Citrus Infused Vinegar Cleaner that is made with just a few ingredients you may already have around the house.
Why These Ingredients Are Great For Cleaning
Citrus, such as lemons and oranges work great for cleaning because they contain d-limonene. This is a natural solvent that works out grease and dirt! Lemons are also great with laundry, taking out stains, cleaning pots and pans and polishing floors. The best part is that citrus smells incredible when it’s used throughout your home!
Vinegar is great for cleaning because it contains acetic acid. This acid works to cut through dirt, grease and grime. It is also strong enough to kill bacteria. Vinegar can be used for all-purpose cleaning, window cleaner, showers and tubs, toilets, floors and even laundry! Pair vinegar cleaner with citrus to neutralize the strong smell.
